About me

My name is Mehmed Arif, born in Istanbul in 1994.

I completed my high school education in Istanbul and then pursued an associate degree in Furniture Decoration and Interior Design at Akdeniz University, graduating in 2015.

I later went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design at Beykent University, Istanbul, with a scholarship, graduating in 2020. I balanced my education with work experience, which allowed me to gain valuable industry insights early on.

In 2020, I moved to London to pursue a Master's degree at the University of the West of Scotland, London Campus. After Brexit, I briefly returned to Turkey before relocating to Germany in May 2022 due to a job offer.

After working in Germany for a while, I furthered my expertise by completing an advanced UX/UI design course and graduated successfully.

I am currently continuing my career as an Industrial and UX/UI Designer in Berlin.

My hobbies

Passions Beyond Design

When I’m not creating innovative designs, you’ll find me exploring art galleries, sketching concepts, or diving into modern and Art Deco aesthetics. These hobbies inspire my creativity and keep me connected to the ever-evolving world of design.

Inspiration Through Hobbies

From visiting museums and exhibitions to sketching and exploring new technologies, my hobbies fuel my passion for design. They provide fresh perspectives that enhance my creativity and problem-solving skills.

Design in Everyday Life

"Whether it’s photographing urban landscapes, crafting furniture concepts, or immersing myself in cultural experiences, my hobbies allow me to see the world differently and bring unique ideas to my work.
